Daniel Létourneau, MSc, PhD, DABR

Daniel Létourneau began his professional career as a medical physicist at the Hospital of Chicoutimi, Canada where he became head of physics. In 2001 he was recruited to William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan where he had the opportunity to devote much of his time to translational research activities. He is now working at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto as associate head of physics in the Radiation Medicine Program. Among his clinical duties, Daniel Létourneau oversees clinical operation and is responsible of the quality control of all external beam treatment units at Princess Margaret Hospital. His main research interests are related to the development and the automation of novel quality control tools and methods for radiotherapy infrastructure. He also actively works to the development and the clinical application of image guidance and adaptive radiotherapy
