Guided Therapeutics Project Manager, Techna Institute
Paul has recently joined Techna as a project manager for the Guided Therapeutics core. He completed his B. Sc in Engineering Physics at Queen’s University (2005) and his M. Sc at the University of Western Ontario (2008), where he studied 3D ultrasound-guided breast cancer therapy. Prior to joining Techna, he performed the role of research associate at UHN, and worked on image quality optimization in the cone beam CT module of the image-guided Perfexion (IGP) system and the XRAD-225Cx micro-irradiator. He has previously worked as a research scientist at Johns Hopkins University, where he studied dual-energy projection chest radiography and the application of cone-beam CT imaging for diagnosis of extremities injuries.
