The Healthcare Human Factors Test Labs consists of over 15,000 ft² of dedicated simulation and testing facilities geared for healthcare. These state of the art usability labs allow for high-fidelity simulations of clinical environments and scenarios, and are equipped with sophisticated recording equipment for archiving, analyzing and sharing data. The usability labs can simulate one or more real-world health-related settings, allowing rigorous testing and rapid improvement of healthcare IT and medical devices before they are introduced into real environments.
Situated on the University Health Network Campus within the Centre for Global eHealth Innovation, they have direct access to over 3000 nurses, 1000 physicians and a patient population of over 1 million from which to draw our evaluation participants.
