Daniel Jubas-Malz, MPH

Daniel graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Public Health in 2019, specializing in Health Promotion. Most recently, Daniel has researched Canada’s pandemic response ecosystem where he identified gaps in domestic preparedness and crafted recommendations to improve quality infrastructure, supply chain management, and sustainability to ready Canada for the next pandemic emergency. During his degree, he completed work placements at the City of Toronto and the Alliance for Healthier Communities.

Daniel is passionate about climate change and health, health equity, community development, and knowledge-sharing. His work is guided by the belief that we must set up venues for dialogue and collaboration between community members and stakeholders to begin building resilience and to co-create solutions that meet the needs of those involved. Daniel enjoys writing poetry and music and spending time with thoughtful humans.
